We are having a rally and protest against a care home who owes a worker and his mother $83,846 in unpaid wage theft judgments.
Wage theft abuses in care homes are epidemic, and we want to send the message to care homes that unpaid wage theft judgments are unacceptable. There will be a program with different allies and workers organization that will be sharing solidarity message and testimonials culminating in a worker delegation to request their pay. We need large
numbers to show San Jose we will not put up with wage theft in our city or county.
PAWIS is a grassroots organization fighting for the rights and welfare of Fiilipino’s in San Jose, and Santa Clara County.
